Wade & Associates, Inc. is conducting a Wastewater Collection System Master Plan & GIS Implementation for the City of Belton, Missouri.  Wade and Associates and Midland GIS Solutions are performing GPS surveying, manhole identification and GIS mapping throughout the Belton Study Area.  A hydraulic model of the City's collection system will be created to analyze capacity issues, land use, and future growth scenarios and cost-effective capital improvements for the Master Plan.  

Manholes throughout the study area will be marked with paint for identification for GIS mapping.  Citizens may notice identifiers on manholes in their neighborhoods.  This procedure is for mapping purposes only.

Sanitary sewer field investigations will include smoke testing and manhole inspections of sanitary sewers in the Belton Study Area. 

We will make every effort to coordinate these activities with city officials, citizens, and business owners in the area to limit traffic disruption and to avoid interference with planned community-wide events. 

 Our goal is to find and reduce defects in your wastewater collection system to eliminate future sanitary sewer overflows and backups, and also to control wet-weather flows.  I/I reduction also reduces costs of excessive relief sewer construction.  We would like to thank the citizens of Belton, Missouri for their efforts in making this project a success!
