This Sanitary Sewer Evaluation includes smoke testing 61,000 linear feet of pipeline as well as approximately 30 inspections of deep manholes to locate system defects. The Arcola collection system is divided into three service areas. The Study Area encompases all three service areas. Wade crews carry identification and use marked company vehicles. |

We make every effort to coordinate our evaluation activities with city officials, citizens, and business owners in the area to limit traffic disruption and to avoid interference with planned community-wide events. Visit our SSES Services links to learn more about our field investigations. Check our Daily Study Schedule link for a map of the study area and daily listing of streets and neighborhoods investigated. Our goal is to find and reduce defects in your wastewater collection system to eliminate future sanitary sewer overflows and backups and to control wet-weather flows. Inflow & Infiltration reduction reduces costs of excessive relief sewer construction and protects the health and well being of the public and the environment. |
