Wade & Associates and the City of Fort Worth are conducting a Sanitary Sewer System Evaluation (SSES)  to identify and eliminate Inflow & Infiltration (I/I) sources in the City's wastewater collection system.  The study will be conducted in the City's Main 134 Drainage Basin and will include both public and private sectors.  This evaluation and improvement project is part of the City's commitment to eliminate and prevent sanitary sewer overflows (SSOs) and bypasses in the wastewater collection system and to comply with EPA regulations known as Capacity, Management, Operations, and Maintenance (CMOM).

Door hanger notification for smoke testing of sanitary sewer lines will be distributed 2-7 days before tests in your area begin.  Field crews will carry identification and use Wade & Associates, Inc. company vehicles.  We will make every effort to coordinate these activities with city officials, citizens, and business owners in the area to limit traffic disruption and to avoid interference with planned community-wide events.

Visit our SSES Services links to learn more about our field investigations. Check our Fort Worth Daily Work Schedule link to see where testing will be completed.

Please remember our goal is to find and reduce defects in your wastewater collection system  to eliminate future sanitary sewer overflows and backups, and also to control wet-weather flows.  I/I reduction also reduces costs of excessive relief sewer construction.  We would like to thank the citizens of Fort Worth for their efforts in making this project a success!
