Round Grove Creek - Project News

You will find information here about the current work performed by Wade & Associates, Inc. for the City of Kansas City Water Services Department and the Wet Weather Program's Round Grove Creek Basin SSES Project.

We are proud of our performance record with cities and municipalities across the nation, representing Wade's commitment to excellence. 

Wade & Associates is assisting the City in conducting an SSES and I/I Study in the Round Grove Creek Basin.  This project is part of a multi-year Overflow Control Program by the City to control sanitary sewer overflows.  Key components of the program are identifying inflow and infiltration (I/I) defects and capacity evaluation and assurance within the City's combined sanitary collection system. 

Wade & Associaties and Akin, Gordon, & Cowger (AGC) are conducting manhole GPS surveying of the City's sanitary collection system.  Other field investigations by Wade include manhole inspections, smoke testing of sanitary and combined sewer lines, building inspections, and CCTV inspections.  Visit our Project Overview link for more details about the SSES services conducted in the Round Grove Creek Study Area. Wade and AGC survey crews will carry identification and use company vehicles. 

We make every effort to coordinate these activities with city officials, citizens, and business owners in the area to limit traffic disruption and to avoid interference with planned community-wide events.
