Smoke Sites

A common sight during smoke testing is...smoke!  In this picture smoke is issuing from a storm drain on the corner of an intersection.  Field technicians mark this site on a diagram outlining the sanitary sewer 'network'--a road map of sewer pipes and where they run throughout a neighborhood.  Wade & Associates' engineers collect data such as this from smoke tests and perform computerized analysis, matching up the results to other diagrams (such as the storm drain system) to isolate breaks and defects in the sanitary sewer system.
